Bringing Gay Pride to Chattanooga and Beyond

The Board of Directors of Tennessee Valley Pride unanimously voted for the Chattanooga PRIDE 2012 Theme at the their last meeting on April 1, 2012. The theme selected is “Celebrating All Shades of the Rainbow”. The theme was selected in response to the spring community survey recently performed by the marketing committee.
The theme represents the need to highlight and celebrate the diversity of not only being GLBT, but to celebrate the diversity within the GLBT Community. The theme is centered around five major points . . .
1) Showcase our more positive qualities in the community
2) Promote the different aspects of the gay community
3) Emphasize being united.
4) Merge the community with the mainstream by reaching out to our straight allies.
5) Emphasize that we all serve many functions where our lifestyle serves no purpose.
PRIDE 2012 Artwork and logos are yet to unveiled. The release date for logo’s and art is set for June 1, 2012. TVP is currently seek letters of inquiry for entertainment and vendors.
